Born from a removal company — grown into something bigger
Vale Packing Supplies was originally founded in 2010 as a sister company to Vale Removals & Storage. The idea was straightforward: our removal teams needed packing materials they could actually trust, and we wanted to supply those materials directly to customers too.
Over time, demand grew well beyond what anyone anticipated. Homeowners, businesses, e-commerce sellers, trade professionals — everyone needed quality packing supplies that were actually worth buying. Vale Packing Supplies became a standalone business in its own right, expanding its range year on year to become one of Cardiff’s most trusted packing material suppliers.
Why we started — the honest reason
We were simply fed up. Fed up of cheap, substandard, inferior-quality removal boxes that buckled under weight, split at the seams and let customers down at the worst possible moment — moving day.
The boxes available to removal companies and consumers alike were, frankly, not good enough. Double-wall boxes that behaved like single-wall. Misleading sizing. Flimsy bases. Poor quality corrugated board that offered almost no protection for valuable belongings.
We decided to stop complaining and do something about it. The result was The Bulldog Box — our own exclusive range of heavy-duty, genuinely premium removal and postal boxes built to a standard we were actually proud of.
Vale Packing Supplies is founded
Established as a sister company to Vale Removals & Storage in Cardiff to supply quality packing materials to both trade removal professionals and the general public. The business was driven by a clear mission: provide packing materials that are actually fit for purpose.
Range expands — reputation builds
Word spread fast. Homeowners planning house moves, e-commerce businesses needing reliable postal boxes, tradespeople requiring pallet wrap and strapping — Vale Packing Supplies became the go-to destination for quality packing materials in Cardiff and South Wales.
We launch our own exclusive box brand
Frustrated by the poor quality of boxes available in the market, Vale Packing Supplies developed The Bulldog Box — an exclusive heavy-duty corrugated box range available in multiple sizes. Built tougher, to a higher specification, and designed to protect what matters most. Available in removal and postal sizes to cater for a huge variety of customer needs.
